Secure Data Destruction

Proper data destruction, solid reporting features and proper retirement of IT assets is our business. The security of your company’s data is our highest objective. In October of 2006, American Electronics Recycling incorporated a one of a kind and state of the art E-shredding system. American Electronics Recycling’s high security facility in Sarasota houses the massive dual and quad shredding system. The system can destroy hard drives as well as large pieces of electronic equipment weighing up to 1 ton. American Electronics Recycling ensures their customers with the highest level of security by providing a certificate of destruction releasing them from liability and offering comfort in knowing the material is being disposed of securely and in an environmentally sound way. American Electronics Recycling will also provide a chain of custody which documents the changing of hands through out every step of the destruction process. Video Verifications is also available, which is a disc with a video of the entire secure destruction process of the confidential material.

Security Measures

American Electronics Recycling has all necessary licensing. American Electronics Recycling is a GSA approved Government Contractor (GS-10F0105T) and registered with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Agency (FLR000008854). American Electronics Recycling carries all insurance coverage required by the State of Florida and ensures that these policies are kept in good standing. As a matter of practice, American Electronics Recycling exceeds minimum coverage requirements.

Facility Security

The American Electronics Recycling facility maintains a high level of security at all times. American Electronics Recycling’s processing plant sits with in a gated industrial park. The facility is constantly monitored by motion censored recorded surveillance cameras. All interior and exterior doors of the facility are swipe card access to ensure customer’s confidential material remain secure. For customer’s requiring the highest of security, American Electronics Recycling provides large locked security cages where inventories can be taken prior to destruction.
